Who do we pray for?

How do we pray?

Our Father who art in heaven,

Hallowed be thy name

Thy will be done on earth as in heaven,

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil

For thine is the Kingdom the power and the glory for ever and ever more

We should also pray for those in authority if we voted for them or not. As a great Bible s

St Paul also tells us to pray for those in authority if we voted for them or not[1]. As a great Bible teacher[2] pointed out Paul was praying for those who were persecuting him and other Christians.

So, we must pray for our Members of Parliament if we voted for them or not. As we need to pray for those in local council and within our churches who have responsibility for leadership.
